This year's luncheon was entitled "Fashions of the Century." We had a fashion show to display the styles of each decade of the Mary Hoyer Doll Company starting from the 1930s when the company began. Several attendees brought their dolls to display in the show. Mary Lynne designed three dolls from photographs of her grandmother, Mary Hoyer, during the 1900s through the 1920s to represent the decades prior to the beginning of the company. The luncheon doll presented was one of these replicas and is pictured below in the upper right-hand corner.

The lovely blond in a black dress with feather headpiece won the hearts of many and will be added to the Mary Hoyer line of costumes for this Fall 2000. We thank Cindy Christofferson for this elegant design.
